Bitstudio Games is offering our game development services to create branded or "advergames" for your product or service.
Pew Research Center has recently esitmated that 97% of teens age 14-17 play video games regularly. But games aren't just for kids anymore... A recent survey by ESA Research found that 68% of all Americans play video games. The ages span from 4-80 with 40 years old the average.
Traditional advertising cannot compete with the amount of time a consumer will spend playing a game as opposed to watching a 60 second video or reading a print ad.
An advergame can be given away free (which will increase the downloads from the many online stores and portals) then have a virtual item for sale right in the game. The item can be something in-game or just related to the brand. For instance, a real world version of a toy that's a character in-game can be sold via an in-app purchase. This works for all sorts of items, not just toys.
If you have a product or service that could benefit by a huge demographic of eager consumers who love to play games whether web based, social or mobile, don't hesitate to contact us for a free consultation today.

Dr. Detective, a Android game by Bitstudio Games took 2nd place in Snaptic's Move Your App! Developer Challenge held at the Snaptic Developer Conference in San Francisco on May 27th 2010.
The challenge was to create an Android app that inspires and tracks physical movement. Dr. Detective takes advantage of GPS and that requires the user to visit different real world locations to progress in the game and solve the clues.
The contest was co-sponsored by HopeLab, a nonprofit organization focused on improving the health and quality of life of young people with chronic illness and KidsHealth.org, the leading site on the web for information on kids health with over 10,000,000 monthly visitors. One of the keys to fighting chronic illness is addressing the obesity epidemic, and HopeLab is intrigued by what mobile technology and mobile apps can do to get people on their feet and in motion, and in turn improve their general health. |
November 2009
Bitstudio Games has recently been developing games for the Android Market. Google's Android Market storefront has recently seen it's number of published applications double. Since October 2008, when Google released its first phone using the Android OS (T-Mobile G1), users saw 10,000 applications published by September 2009. Now, only a few months later that number has doubled and has now exceeded 20,000 apps.
Update May 2012.
There are now about 444,000 Andriod apps in the market.
The recent release by Verizon to its customers of the Motorolla Droid series, has already been and will continue to provide a significant boost to Android Market. With the estimated 5 billion downloads for all mobile applications, Android is poised to become a major competitor in the coming years. Currently, Android makes up for 11% of total mobile downloads, and expects to reach 23% by 2015. This is exciting news for both Google and Bitstudio Games, along with Android OS users.
Over the past year, Bitstudio has contributed several successful games (Bubble Bounce, Ancient Mysteries, Block Breaker, and others) in the Android Market. While other developers are overlooking and even leaving the Android Market for the larger iPhone user base, Bitstudio Games sees the potential and plans to stay. We intend to develop for both Andriod and iOS platforms.
UPDATE Sept. 2011
Sales of Andriod devices are growing 250% year over year and currently over 300 million devices have been sold. |
